This antique piece dates cira 1880\'s - 1890\'s and is larger than most Masonic fobs. The fob features a large yellow gold Maltese cross. One side of the cross displays a Knights Templar Emblem. A red enameled cross is set atop a textured ray like background. Two yellow gold swords cross behind the cross, while a yellow gold crown is set atop the cross. Each of the arms of the Maltese cross are engraved with one word from the phrase In Hoc Signo Vinces. The back of the Maltese cross is accented by a 32nd degree Scottish Rite symbolism. A yellow gold double headed eagle is set atop a Royal Arch Keystone. The double headed eagle is engraved with fine details. A raised triangle is featured in it\'s breast and is engraved 32, while a banner hangs below the eagle and reads Spes Mea In Deo Est. The keystone is accented by white enamel behind the double headed eagle, while the arms of the cross read Buffalo Chapter 71; Buffalo Council 17; Lake Erie Com 20; Hiram Lodge 105. The keystone and double headed eagle lift up to reveal an opening designed to hold a photograph or lock of hair. A hinged knight\'s bust is set atop the Maltese cross and features a moveable mask. A stationary bale and jump ring are set atop the knight\'s bust and allow this piece to be worn as a fob on a key chain or pendant on a necklace. This vintage piece is well made; but does show some surface wear and patina due to it\'s age. This is a special, historical piece with a unique design!

This badge measures 1 29/32\" (48.8mm) tall, 1 1/8\" (28.9mm) wide and weighs 19.4 grams.
