We are quite pleased to offer this Scottish Victorian sterling silver Zodiac tea kettle on matching stand.

From Edwin Millridge in 1869. Listed in Edinburgh from 1834 to 1871.

In unique raised drum form.

Beautifully carved signs of the Zodiac, set in medallion in scroll frame. The twin fish, scorpion, scales and more with rich finish detail.

Set in elaborate series of borders including leaf and vine, rolling wave and interwoven chain.

The well cast and fit cover with satin surface layered leaf bud and globe finial.

The matching stand with conforming Zodiac medallion.

Retains both original chained securing pins. Atop acanthus cap tapering vine & scroll shell feet. United by pierced leaf and floral panel.

This rare Scottish Zodiac tea kettle on stand 14 1/2 inches and weighs 57 1/2 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Stands firm on table or serving tray. The Zodiac medallion and lion feet retain their original detail. Handle secure original heat stops. Mild wear. No burner.
