This Pendant/Display Piece is an Authentic Scrimshaw of a Polar Bear Mother and Cub Walking in the Arctic Ice and Landscape, Hand Made in Alaska by Alaska Native Eskimo Iñupiat / Yupik and Signed by Native Artist with initials LS.

This Fossil Material is Beautifully Etched in Simple Black Ink on a Background of Creams and Whites, Reflecting the Scenes of Traditional Life in the Remote Wilderness of Alaska’s Arctic.

This Piece is in Excellent Condition. Natural Lines or Cracks Extending From the Edge Are Normal to the Material, Lending a One Of A Kind Beauty to Each Piece.

There is a bail already in place making this item ready to place on your favorite cord or necklace chain and worn as a pendant.

The bail is gold color metal which appears to be a high quality metal, possibly gold, with no fading in color. But since it is not marked as gold, I cannot guarantee that the bail is gold or gold fill.

Although This Item is Ready to be Worn as a Pendant, It Can Also be Used to Make a Lovely Display Piece if Desired as it Truly is a Work of Art.
