"THE SENTIMENTAL PIERROT "

Royal Doulton figure of the "Sentimental Pierrot" probaby a prototype.

It was never put in production in this pattern of dress.

There was a grey version HN36 and a black and white version HN307which hada different pattern

It measures approx 14cm high

Sentimental Pierrot figure was in production between 1914-36

Doulton pre 1920 backstamp

162 and 6 20 also on the base

Faults:Hairline onbase which runs up through leg. Crazing. Manufacturing fault on back of hat /collar. Glaze has pooled in places and there are a couple of tiny pin head size paint lossesminor scuff on a white square.
