Iam pleased to offer this old and original, set of Victorian oval doorknobs. These ornate brass knobs are heavy, and of high quality. These are not thin stamped knobs. The larger knob measures approximately 2 3/4\" tall, while the other about 2 1/2\" tall. The set weighs 1.33 pounds. There is no back plate. The diameter at the end of the knobs, which slips into back plate, is about 11/16\". The center shaft is a bit unusual. It is connected in the middle. One side threads into the other side. The larger knob has a square opening for the shaft and it is pinned. I took the pin out with a hammer and punch, so it is not frozen. The smaller knob has a round opening and threads onto the shaft, and has a set screw to secure in place. The condition is very good, with nice patina. Knobs have wear commensurate with age and proper use. Lovely door knob set. The photos are an integral part of my description. They will give an accurate representation, andbest tell the story.
