ABOUT:

This is a beautiful Shiebler spoon from their multi-motif Flower of the Month line in the style of Fiorito, scarce and super fantastic : ) This is the January spoon and depicts a Snowdrop. Patterns still exceptionally crisp.

This pattern line beganproductionin 1902 and the spoon is dated 1912.

Pretty floral pattern with a art nouveau styling. Has the name Jean engraved on the back of the handle, not visible when the table is set.

MEASUREMENTS:

The spoon measures 6\" in length. Much denser than some of my other more delicate spoons and weighs 38 grams. Very sturdy hand feel.

MARKS AND PATTERNS:

Marked Sterling on the back with the Shiebler Hallmarks and \"Pat Apl\'d For\" (for Patent Applied For). 

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Please note this is in estate condition with some scratching and a few utensil marks in the bowl. The designs on the handle were polished minimally so as not to wear down the detail so the handle detail is still very crisp. Has a few cloudy dots and two stubborn tarnish spots in the bowl. No damage or scratching, no dings or dents to any of the artwork or design, it seems to be just the smooth areas of the bowl where any wear is made more evident by the mirrored finish.
