This sale is for my own personal 1966 Remco Lost In Space B9 Robot. In 2002, I had this Robot, and its box, both autographed by the man who played the Lost in Space Robot, actor Bob May (see photos). Mr. May died in 2009. The dedication on the Robot reads, \"To Carlos, Good Luck, Bob May, The Robot\", and on the box he wrote, \"To Carlos, Best Always, Bob May, The Robot\".As you can see by the pictures, this Robot has been kept in excellent display condition. Both side decals on the treads show no wear. Unfortunately, the red battery bar tip broke on one of its side, as usually happens over time with the Remco robots (see picture). Also, the spring for the Robot\'s arm actions is missing, and the tip of the hook that connects the spring to the Robot\'s arms, broke off on the right side.I hadn\'t tested the Robot in about 25 years, so I decided to put a couple of batteries in him, and turn on his switch. The motor started to run, then it seemed to stop, although the light on his chest plate was working fine, and it begins to blink after a few seconds. I was using weak batteries though, so maybe with new batteries, a little oil and fine tuning, this baby could be back up and running again. The last time I did test him though, I remember the motor ran fine. Anyway, since I can\'t guarantee that he\'ll run for you, he is being sold as is. A great collector\'s item, autographed by the man who played the Lost In Space Robot himself! Also included is the autographed original box, and the original cardboard packaging for the Robot\'s body and treads as well! Comes from a smoke free home!
