Irish Crochet - long dress front in classic imitation of of Gros Point of Point de Venise needle lace.

Unusual thread - feels and looks like silk. Lots of fun raised work on the edges. Very good condition. Ecru color with a slight hint of peach.

About 22 inches in the front from the top of the neckline to the bottom edge. Top edge of collar about 15 inches long.

RESPONSE TO QUERY:

There is a seam in the front of the neckline -- not sure just what or why. It may be a repair, or an adjustment to make the collar fit differently. Photo of the back view of the area was added. That is the only oddity I see in the piece.
