A quite magnificent fully hallmarked sterling silver Edwardian nurses belt and buckle, The buckle as well as the 10 smaller panels are all decorated with pierced work decoration of a bird within foliage.

All panels are hallmarked and very interestingly every small loop of the chain carries the lion passant denoting sterling silver.

It has an outstretched length of 25 1/2 inches. The small panels each measure 27x27mm.

Buckle measures 107x60mm.

As excellent an example as you could hope to find.
