Silver Car Miniatures \"The 1905 Vauxhall, Franklin Mint Vintage; excellent condition. comes in its origional box and with the pamplet explaining the car. It is in excellent condition, 100 % sterling silver and was made between 1977-81; one of 12 world famous cars, 1:43 actual scale, incredibly detailed and well constructed. 2&3/4 inches long, 1&3/8 inches tall with weight of 3.6 oz. These silver car miniatures have scale of rarity 4, just one notch down from the top rarity. The car is composed of separately cast and applied pieces, so that each small piece could be created with authentic detail. The wheels are free turning and the car has its origional patina. During production, an invisible coating was applied to prevent tarnishing, therefore silver polish is not recommended.The underside of one of the tire rims is marked sterling silver and bears the Franklin Mint intertwined F and M hallmark.
