For your consideration is a fabulous creation by the famed manufacturers of fine Arts & Crafts and Art Deco bronze, SILVER CREST, The successors of Heintz.A pair of fine bronze bookends with applied bronze/brass overlay polo players. The delicate bronze/brass polo player designs wre cut out and then bonded to the bronze items by a patented process known as sintering.
The bookends are 5 1/8\" tall, 4 1/2\" wide and 4 3/4\" deep. They are weighted with a rich hued wood and the base has the Silver Crest mark. Both bookends are in excellent condition but don\'t forget that they are antiques. See photos!! They are gorgeous and a rare design.
