Silver-plate Double Electric Lamp DoubleEagle Surrounding a Crest 18” h

Presentedis a beautiful silver plate electric lamp with two double eagle armorial creststhat hang as shades with a light fabric back that hang in front or two post equippedfor holding light bulbs. The two shades hang from outstretched arms that extendfrom the upper part of the center post below a key ring top with a stunning figuraldragon perched on the side behind the two shades with a tail that extends downto the spiraled post above the chased leaf motif base. The electric cord extend out of the base ismissing a plug so I am unable to sell this as a working lamp. It is anunpolished item with some missing, replaced. One shade does appear to have beenbroken at the top where it hangs from the arm and has been repaired with anaddition of a metal tab and there may have been an arm attached at one timethat is now missing above the dragon. This is a great piece with an age andware commensurate with its uniqueness and it is a beautiful piece with anelegant old world charm.

Condition: some minor dings, this lamp hasnot been tested and is not being sold as a working lamp due to a missing plugat the end of the cord, lamp is unpolished has some missing or replaced parts.One shade has been broken at the top and hangs from the arm with an addition ofa metal tab and there may have been an arm attached at one time that is nowmissing above the dragon, some scratches from use and care.
