A superb George V sterling silver vesta case with setter dog front.

It features a realistically modelled setter dog with engraved textured fur and detail. The texture of the dog is a nice contrast with the smooth silver. The case has a nice quality look and feel to it with smooth rounded edges. Has striker to the base and the lid opens with extended finger part on the lid. The inner lip displays a full set of english hallmarks for Birmingham 1911 with makers mark.

The case is offered in excellent condition. A superb collectable item which would make a special gift to a collector of vesta cases or antique silver.
