This beautiful Singer Featherweight 222K was allocated on March 31, 1954, based on the serial numberEJ619401- This was only the second year these machines were in production! The machine and its 120-volt motor run smoothly and it comes complete with its original bobbin case. The original paint finish has a few small blemishes on the rear side of the removable sewing bed (see photo). There is almost no wear to the decals, which are bright and bold. All functions are operational - light, sew/darn feed dog positions, forward/reverse, stitch length and bobbin winding. Overall, this machine is in very good working condition and makes beautiful stitches.
The machine comes with:

The original carrying/storage case (with 1 key) which has the original metal side tray and holds 4 spare bobbins. No musty smell!
The original attachments that came with this machine in the original signature green Singer cardboard box (ruffler, adjustable hemmer, narrow hemmer, shirrer, edge stitcher and binder), as well as the original small metal screwdriver.
The original pedal in very good condition.

With regular maintenance, this wonderful machine will continue to sew beautiful straight stitches beyond its current 60-year old age. It will be a great portable machine to add to your Featherweight collection. Use it with pride and joy!
