Black & chrome with gold decals. Straight stitch only. Forward & Reverse.
Includes vintage metal bobbins (these work much better than new, imported bobbins), original accessory kit, new pack of # 18 needles, 4 oz oiler, new seam ripper, new lint brush & other goodies.
The finish is not bad, I would give it a 6 or 6-1/2 on a scale of 10 with 10 being brand-new out of the Singer crate.
There are some small scratches and chips in the finish. The decals are pretty good with just a slight amount of silvering at the center front bed border.
Chrome parts are bright, no rust on the accessory feet.
Machine has been cleaned and serviced. Motor runs strong and quiet. Very Good pedal and cord set. New light bulb. New bobbin winder tire.

This machine runs smoothly and is very powerful. It is in excellent mechanical condition. Worm gear drive motor means no exposed belts.

Many say that the stitch formed by a Singer 201 is still the standard all others are compared to, even today.
Controls are large and easy to grip. Motor is smooth and powerful. Light is bright.

Returns
I accept returns on most items. Please notify me within 30 days ofdelivery, or as noted in the listing. The item must be returned in the samecondition as when it was sent. Buyer pays for return shipping unless Isubstantially fail to describe the item accurately. If that should happen, Imay send you a return shipping label. Once I receive the item and verify itscondition, I will issue the refund through PayPal and send you a “TransactionCancellation Request” through . I cheerfully make adjustments for itemsthat I am not able to verify the absolute condition of. Examples would bevintage cameras, vintage movie projectors, and other similar items that requirefilm development or playing of a movie that I may not have in my possession. Restocking Fees
Restocking fees pertain to items that:
1.The buyer purchased theitem by mistake (ordered wrong item)
2.The buyer purchased thewrong quantity (ordered too many)
3.The buyer changed theirmind and does not want the item.
On my items that INCLUDE shipping in the price of the item, the restockingfee is equal to my actual cost of original shipping for these items.
For items with CALCULATED SHIPPING, I refund the purchase price ofthe item, but not the original shipping amount.
I want to make it as painless as possible for my customers toreturn items they can’t use, however, I cannot absorb the expense ofout-of-pocket shipping and packaging costs.

Packing & Shipping
I am very experienced in shipping delicate instruments and heavymachinery. My packaging is thorough and extensive. If you suspect shippingdamage, contact me immediately. I will file the damage claim with the carrierand refund your money as quickly as possible. I may ask the Buyer forassistance if the carrier wants to inspect the item and I appreciate theBuyer’s cooperation in making the item & packaging available forinspection. Please retain all packaging materials for any damage inspection.
I use USPS First-class and Priority Mail for smaller packages andUPS Ground or Fedex Ground for larger packages. I participate in the “GlobalShipping” program and I also direct-ship to Canada. I reserve the right todetermine which carrier or service to use non-expedited shipping.
Combined Shipping

My packing process: I use this packing process for delicate machinery and equipment.I may vary the process depending on the fragility of particular item, its weight, or its destination.(Machine shown is not the one included in this listing)Step One: Assemble all the included items. Step Two: I use sturdy cardboard tubes to protect protruding parts that could be broken off in shipment.Step Three: Item is shrink wrapped to keep all partsimmobilized and secure.
Step Four: A layer of 5/16 bubble wrap is shrink-wrapped to the item.
Step Five: Multiple layers of 1/2\" bubble-wrap surround the item in a air cocoon.Step Six: The wrapped bundles are placed into a primary cardboard box and stuffed with packing peanuts toprevent movement. Step Seven: The Primary Box is taped and sealed shut.Step Eight: The Primary Box is fitted into a Heavy-Duty Shipping box and surrounded by moreshipping peanuts and air bags. I only use new boxes or used boxes in very good condition. Step Nine: The Shipping box is taped, sealed, strapped and labeled. The item is now ready to ship.
As you can see, there is a lot of work involved, a lot of packing material used.It takes about an hour or more to properly pack a large item for safe shipping.Thank you for your interest.
