Small 5\" Brown Dudson Ware Antique English Jasperware Pitcher:

Lovely little pitcher is only 5\" tall, 3\" in diameter at the bottom and 2-3/8\" in diameter at the top. Dull glaze outside; shiny glaze inside and decorated in detailed white relief with lion\'s heads, grape leaf laurels and ribbons. Hallmark is stamped \"H\" with the number \"36\" and the number \"296\" painted in the glaze near the very center of the bottom, possibly pre-1860. Pewter (I think) thumbrest at top has some surface scratching but the rest is flawless.
