This is a very beautifully hand-crafted plate/tray made of 800 Silver in Israel more than 80 years ago. Its diameter is 6 1/2" and it is about 1" tall. The plate shows intricate cut-outs and repousse applications depicting dancing children and baskets of flowers surrounded by circles of flowery garlands. The center of the plate portrays a mandolin player under a tree. The bottom of the plate is stamped "800 Israel", as is the upper-side of the plate plus additional symbols. It weighs 152 grams/5.35 ounces and is in excellent antique condition. A great collectors' item!
