SOLID BRASS SEWING BIRD HEMMING CLAMP WITH PIN CUSHION. New. This beautifully detailed antique-style functional solid brass hemming clamp, also known as a needlework clamp, features a figural bird with red velvet pin cushion. This handy Victorian style fabric holder securely clamps to your sewing table, allowing for the bird’s beak to conveniently act as a third hand, holding the fabric taut while stitching, and when you are ready, releasing the fabric from the beak by depressing the tail. Measures 7” long x 4” wide x 2 ¼” wide wing to wing. The pincushion measures 1 ¾”, and the adjustable clamp opening measures 1 3/8” at its fullest.
