This is a Solid Silver Cow creamer, it predates the Sterling standard but my local Jewelry Shop assures me that it is in fact solid silver. The dolphin on the bottom is a Dutch mark for silver under .833 purity which places it\'s origin in the Netherlands between 1859 and 1893. This would make a great present for any P.G. Wodehouse / Jeeves and Wooster fans.
This .833 silver purity would be worth about $304 for 16 oz with the silver price at the time of listing @ 19.39. This cow creamer is .45 and pounds and has been recently restored, leg and horn straightened, hinge replaced, ear repaired, so it\'s in prime condition ready to use. So long as your payment clears I will ship this anywhere.(PS: I\'m an engraver and I am considering engraving some pupils in the eyes and possibly adding some lashes. The eyes look strange to me without pupils. Tell me all ye Die hard collectors, your period opinion would be much appreciated; would you consider this a no no for a period piece or an improvement? I tend toward he latter obviously but the piece will remain in this original condition as long as it is
