Superb sterling silver Mappin and Webb silk lined hinged box.

Beautiful green enamelled lid. The enamel is in lovely condition, over engine turned silver and a striking colour.

The delicate hinge is still in good condition.

A few age related dings and originally it would have sat on four feet, where the scallops are. It still sits nicely though.

Fully Hallmarked for Mappin & Webb year date1911.
