Solid Silver Old English Pattern William IV Tea Spoon London 1831 Jonathan Hayne:
$10.62

This is a really lovely solid silver spoon produced in the Old English Pattern with a shoulder near to the bowl.
There is a very clear hallmark, including the leopard for London, the lion passant, the bust of William IV, the maker\'s mark JH for Jonathan Hayne, who was registered in London in 1821, having dissolved his partnership with Thomas Wallis in 1816, and the date letter q for 1831.
The handle is monogrammed as you can see from the photographs.
The spoon weighs a substantial 31 g and is 142mm long.
The overall condition is beautiful with just very very minor, almost unnoticeable dings to the bowl, which does not in any way detract from the beauty of the item: a fine and interesting addition to your spoon collection.
