St. Simon Zelotes Apostle Vintage STERLING SILVER Spoons, Set Of Two Marked 800:

This is a rare, unique set of two St. Simon Zelotes spoons, marked 800 with other significant symbols in the bowl near the stem, see pictures. St. Simon adjourns the top of each spoon, and an Angel head with wings gathers at the bottom. Each spoon varies from the other slightly, as they have not been polished. There is a very small hole at the bottom of one of the spoons, see pictures. The culture and origin of these spoons stem from British London and Germany.

The 800 stamp is mostly used to mark vintage silver jewelry and other vintage items. Through my research, this appears to mean that the content of the jewelry or item is 4/5 silver. Many times, based on the style of the piece and the 800 stamp, this points to European Pieces or other foreign makers.
