From my personal collection. From the maker of fine collectibles known the world-over ~ the Franklin Mint ~ comesthis beautiful sculpture of the Commanding Officer of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 ~ Captain James T. Kirk. (I kinda think it looks like President Bush but, hey - what do I know?)FIRST issue in the \'Star Trek Legends\' collection, the Captain is crafted of hand-painted solid pewter, sitting in a heavy full lead crystal command chair with a green and red jeweled control panel at his right hand, accented with 24kt gold. The piece overall measures 7\"in heightwhich includes the base, which I believe is also metal, but could be a very dense resin material. The base itself measures 4-1/2\" wide and 6\" long. Minor imperfections to the base and sculpture as shown, but displays very well. No original packaging or paperwork. Still, a nice addition to any collection.
