Up for sale is a hard to findStar Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Illuminated Crystal Ball offered by the Franklin Mint in 1999. That’s 17 years ago folks. I seem to recall paying in/around $300 dollars for the item back then, but I can’t locate the original sales receipt to confirm that.

What I did locate was the items CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTCITY and CARE & HANDLING documents. Both are in excellent condition and included in this sale.

The 3 Dimensional laser work of the Enterprise traveling through (what appears) to be a nebula is breath taking.

The Crystal Ball comes with a beautiful lighted stand, but I’ll admit at using a different stand that changed colors. Included with the stand is the original (unused) lightbulbs. That’s 3 spare bulbs + it’s original.

Also included is the original power supply.

The glass ball alone weights nearly 3 lbs.Overall dimensions are 5\" wide at the stands base and approx. 7.5\" tall with the glass ball sitting on the stand.

A little background History:

The Franklin Mint Star Trek Masterworks used laser technology to create this dazzling three-dimensional image of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 within an optical-quality glass ball. This was ground breaking technology back in those early days.
