The Stars and Bars First National Flag with 11 Stars is a handstencil design listed in the Confederate Catalog as F11-28. The cover is Confederatepostally used as a small remnant of the Richmond, Va postmark can be seen under the Flag. The stamp is missing. Addressed to Miss H. A. Robertson, Acworth, Ga. The coverwas basically at one time in tatters but has been extensively and professionally restored to save the scarce Flag design. Notation on the back states \"unique\" design. That is not true as there are a few other examples of the design known as evidenced by the catalog listing.
