Own a piece of American history! Here is an original US land grant, which we believe is signed by President Andrew Jackson. Jackson was the last president to sign grants by hand, and got so backlogged that a special law was passed allowing a special secretary to sign for him. This law was passed in March 1833. This land grant was signed the First day of August, in the year 1831 and also signed by Elijah Hayward, the Commissioner of the General Land Office. The seal in the lower left is sealed on with red OF SALE:
