Presented is a stunning large Art Nouveau centerpiece basket or pedestaled bowl with two handles and a greatengraved and cutout floral motif on a trellis design with twining vines. It is a wild rose flower. I believe this item to be made and marked by Davis& Galt of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who started c1893 and believed to have gone out ofbusiness c1922.Thisbeautiful piece is marked on the bottom with a style or product number of 1147Land sterling. It is in amazing condition with no dents or dings and only somevery minor scratches from gentle use and care. Made of sterling silver crispand detailed on a thin pedestal base. It is heavy for the size with a highfinish and a beautiful piece in almost any decor or setting.
