This is a Masonic grand rank collar jewel, whichmay be worn as a pendant.It was made ofsterling silver in London in 1896 according to the hallmarks and the front.It has the word “OVERSEAS” on it.The center is enameled with slightdiscoloration near the bottom. Thestippled area surrounding the enamel is light gold in color.It\'s marked,“KENNING & SON LONDON. The silversmithwas “GK&S”.It measures approximately2 3/4” x 1 13/16” x 5/8” including the bale.We can\'t find another Masonicpiece with OVERSEAS on it. Most of theMasonic grand rank collar jewels online are marked LONDON. The silver hallmark shows GK&S in arectangle for George Kenning & Son.The lion indicated 925 silver London.The leopard face also indicates London and the small “a” indicates 1896.It weighs approximately 1.58 oz.
