Beautiful and stylish.
This 1920s International Sterling by Watrous compact is in great shape for its age. I notice no major dents/dings/scratches, only normal wear for the age of the piece.
The mirrors are fully intact with no cracks.
Each compartment opens and closes properly and without issue.
The back is hallmarked as follows:
INTERNATIONAL STERLING. Between the International and the Sterling, there is a W inside a C.PAT. JULY 18-1922272/58
Inside the bottom compartment, the tray is marked as follows:
PAT. FEB.5.1924
The total weight using a SmartWeigh Scale is 59.33 grams.
It is approximately 2\" across, with a circumference of approximately 6.5\". It is approximately 1/2\" high.
