This sale is for a fine 19th Century AntiqueSterling Silver Christening Tankard Mug measuring approx 9 cm in height and is approx 8.5 cm across from rim to Handle while the cup itself is approx 5.5 cm in diameter and weighs approx 110 grams.The Tankard is slightly fluted and plain all over with just the Hallmark for London 1886 and the makers stamp forMappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin).The piece is in very good used Antique condition a couple minor dints (see photos) and the usual surface ware you find on everyday used Antique silver of this vintage but as this piece is 125 years old nothing you would not expect.Please study photos as an aid to condition,All items are offered elsewhere so right is retained to remove listing at any time.
