A fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver drinks/tea tray; an addition to our range of silver trays, salvers and plates

This fine antique George V sterling silver drinks/tea tray has an elongated rectangular form with shaped incurved corners.

The surface of this antique silver tray with handles is plain and unembellished, apart from the featured hallmarks.

The raised border of the tray is ornamented with a band of applied rosette motifs accented with a large protruding rosette and bead design to each corner.

This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with a pair of plain incurved shaped handles.

The tray is supported by four rounded subtle sterling silver feet.

The underside of the tray bears the retailer’s mark ‘Brook & Son, 87 George St, Edinburgh’ in addition to the registration number ‘RD 572472’.

This tray is shown with a four piece tea and coffee service for illustrative purposes only - the service (A2450) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory.

Condition

This antique silver tray with handles is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

The tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface are all very clear.
