A very rare sterling silver Geoge III nutmeg grater in the shape of a spinning top. This wonderful piece was assayed in Birmingham and is hallmarkedfor 1799 by the prolific makers Samuel Pemberton. The overall condition is excellent with only minor wear. The nutmeg grater has a full set of hallmarks including the makers mark on th insideof the lid although the makers mark is poorly struck and you can only just make SP out.The diamentions and weight are, hieght 4cm, diameter 2.5cm and it weighs 12.6 grams.
