Great Native American sterling silver ring. Looks to be size 10 1/2. The inlay section measures 3/4\" wide and 5/8\" high. Adding the section featuring two nice bezel-set turquoise stones and two stamped tear drops, the ring is 1 1/8\" high. The inlay silhouette of a horse head is composed of cream-colored shell, and it is set into a background of pale brown tortoise shell. The head stall is set with fine sterling segments. These design elements are common to many items hand-made by members of the Dan Simplicio family of Zuni, NM. This one is marked on the plain hand-cut shank I. S. (for Isabel Simplicio) and Zuni N.
