Asterling silver vase by the Italian firm Nardi of Venice Italy, in the provinceof Veneto;

this particular vase bears the silversmith’s mark, indicatingorigin; the underside of the

vase has the Nardi Sergio Gioielleria label;having chased fruit & foliate patterns in a

band around the centre of thevase with reeded borders; gold gilt on the interior; the

piece is 12-3/4” high& 7-1/2” width at it’s widest part; it is a signed piece weighing

animpressive 1017 grams.
