It was part of a recent clearance of an english church with many interesting religious items including this icon.

Fine intricate detailuing which can be observed in the detailed faces.

Russian text to both sides at the top.

The icon has an overall size of about 7.25 x 5.75inches.

Max depth of about 0.75inches.

Considering the age, the overall conditionis excellent andisnot subject to:

any major blemishes.

Rub marks to top corners with rubbing to the left bottom corner.
