Johann Maresch was a prolific Austrian/Czech potter truning out high quality ceramics in the 19th and early twentieth centuries. Well known for their wall chargers and Tobacco jars. This vase is very colorful and is of a Islamic influence in its shape and coloring, really an eye catcher.It is in very good condition with a minor chip to the base and some minor loss of gilding. It stands 10 inches tall, 6 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches deep. A rare gem, make it yours.
