This wonderful ring has a plain shank leading to the shoulders, which are set with cabochon Turquoiuse that flank the centrally set drilled Pearl(Turquoise was one of the Victorians favourite gemstones and was believed to have a number of properties i.e. If given a Turquoise by a loving friend, that stone would protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune. Turquoise was also the symbol of friendship and it was believed that it would also bring peace to the home).
