Beautiful, signed, fine painting on bone, of an Arab gentleman and his lover, accompanied by a musician, set within an ornately inlaid frame. Originating from Isfahan, Persia (modern day Iran), date unknown.
An absolutely fabulous item, the work being of great beauty and fine detail and framed handsomely. The frame has some very small loss and damage to the varnish, as shown, but this detracts very little from this wonderful piece.
Measuring approx : 26.5cm by 21cm.
A superb work and an item of great interest.
