For sale a stunning fine quality 19th century Satsuma earthenware thousand butterflies bowl. Very fine enamel and gilt Chrysanthemum exterior. Interior of this bowl is very finely enamelled and gilded with thousands of tiny butterflies. In excellent undamaged condition with very little wear. The work involved in this bowl must have taken weeks to achieve the superb finished effect. Signed 4 character mark to base. Possibly Yabu Meizan. Approx size7in x 2.50in. A stunning Satsuma bowl that will enhance any collection. Winner will not be disappointed. I do not post to PO Boxes.
