Stunning rare TIFFANY Victorian silver nursery rhyme spoon, c 1890.:

Description: A wonderful Victorian silver child\'s spoon by Tiffany & Co of New York, with a silver gilt bowl, the stem with a stunning double struck (i.e. front and back) period depiction from the nursery rhyme \'Jack and Jill\' of Jack falling headlong, his hat flying through the air, and Jill with her arms up in dismay, the spilt pail of water at her feet. Tiffany is a given for design, opulence and quality, and this spoon is also illustrated on page107 of \'Tiffany Silver\' by Charles H Carpenter Jnr., which is further testimony to its quality, and also confirmation of it\'s age, as the description beneath the photo says it is \'late nineteenth century\'.

Condition: In lovely antique condition without damage or repair, and just some wear to the gilding on the bowl.
