Meiji Japanese Sumida Gawa Kiyomizu Studio Ware, Drip Glaze vase

Provenance: Japan.

Age: Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).

Size: The vase measures 20.5cm in height X 11cm in width.

Artist/signature: The piece is unsigned.

Condition: The vase is inexcellent condition with NO chips, cracks orrestoration.

Comments: A fine Japanese Sumida Gawa, Kiyomizu studio ware vase, dating to the late Meiji Period. The vase is decorated with a rich drip glaze design, which has a marbled effect to it, commonly seen on Sumida Gawa pieces. Unusual Elephant Head Handles.
