A stunning Sung Ware English vase from Royal Doulton, ca. 1920s. Baluster form enveloped in the company\'s signature fiery flambé glaze of dark red, black, blue and violet developed by Doulton\'s chief designer, Charles Noke (1858-1941). The vase is marked with a printed factory \"Flambé\" mark (Crown & Lion B.18) underfoot, alongside the hand-painted \"SUNG\" script mark, signed monogram for Frederick Moore and painted \"Noke\" signature for Charles Noke, incised \"1771\". Excellent condition, measuring 10.5 in. H.
