I needed a different way to light our Flag as water kept getting into the one that pointed up toward it. I saw this and decided to give it a try. My husband did have to figure out how to attach it, as we have an older, different style top to our pole, but that was no problem for him. One of the neighbors saw it and asked where I got it, because he also liked the idea of the above the Flag lighting. Great idea, great light.

I have to admit, it takes some getting used to since it looks a lot like you have just landed a space ship on your Flag pole. But just how important is it that you do the right thing with a well-lit Flag at night? I have purchased 6 different pole and ground lights only to be disappointed with the amount and direction of the light. They simply could not perform no matter how much money I spent. I was beginning to think I was going to have to do the respectful thing and take my Flag down every night.
This light is not only very bright, it has plenty of storage surface so it stays lit. As much as it looks like a spaceship, it really is awesome at night, almost like a halo that shines down on Old Glory. I am pleased and so are my neighbors.

I like it alot. Came in 3 days and had it mounted atop my 25` sectional Flagpole and waiting for dark in 5 minutes, well diffinitly under 10. All 20 lights lit very bright. It shoots light down like an upside down cone, but will not, of course, light the whole Flag if the wind is blowing. An \"on/off\" sticker is by the switch, good idea, switch looks like the light sensor. Battery`s came installed and I was very surprised they had a 2000 mAh rating, very good, lights are bright when I get up at 6am. No instructions, but I can`t imagine why you would need any, A DUH.. One caution, battery cover screws very sensitive to scripping, just snug them.

the Flagpole light has small solar panels and only 3 batteries, this performed better than I expected, after a sunny day LEDs are still fairly bright after 11 hours of use. i do recommend this product.
for the people that think this will light your hole Flag pole, you have to be a bit realistic about your expectations.

This is the second light I have purchased. The first one lasted about 2 1/2 years. The new one I just received is a bit smaller, but it has an on and off switch which the last one did not have, Although smaller it gives the same amount of light as the 1st one did.
