This ornate Victorian era Candelabra stands 15\" in height and spans 13\". It has an ornately decorated scroll and floral stepped 5\" base that is weighted for stability. The top part of the Candelabra can be removed for easy polishing. The five ornate Bobeches are also removable. The quality and master craftsmanship is truly wonderful. This candelabra dates to the 1860s and has always been well cared for. It is marked on the base with the early mark for E.G. Webster & Son. of New York and Brooklyn and has a pattern number 605
The E.G. Webster company was founded in 1860 by Elizur G. Webster. Formed E.G. Webster & Brother in 1865 and incorporated in 1867 as Webster Manufacturing Co. and was later sold to International Silver Co in the 1920s.
This ornate candelabra weighs over 6 pounds before packing. There are no dings, dents or bends or silver loss. You may want to give it a quick polish before using.
