Superb Victorian sterling silver vesta case. The vesta case has been superbly hand-chased engraved and bears the initials \"SB\" or \"LB\"withina shield-shaped cartouche. Internally the case has been gilded with the gilding still in excellent condition suggesting little or no use as a vesta case. The hinge works well and the silver ring is still attached for attaching to a fob chain.
