Superb 8 Day Hallmarked Sterling Silver Carriage Clock By Charles Frodsham.Made to Commemorate the 1977 Queens Silver Jubilee & one of a limited number of only 1000 made.Superb clock in excellent condition & perfect working order.Winds & sets perfectly & seems to be keeping quite accurate time also.Beautifully crafted in hallmarked sterling silver & depicting Caryatid figures to each corner & crown decorated swing handle.Various London hallmarks to case including lion passant as pictured. Excellent age related condition with much less than usual signs of use, but the bevelled glass panel in the back door has a couple of minor edge chips & one to the bottom corner, really nothing major & mentioned purley for accuracy.Dial is in mint condition.Fine quality carriage clock offered with !Complete with keys pictured, one to wind the movement & the smaller one to set the hands.Size: 4 1/4 inches (10.8cm) high (including handle in up position), 2 3/8 inches (6cm) wide, 2 1/8 inches (5.3cm) deep.Weight: 571 grams.See all 22 images. Beautifully crafted in hallmarked sterling silver & depicting Caryatid figures to each corner & crown decorated swing handle.
Various London hallmarks to case including lion passant as pictured.
