Populated with two walking along the lane beside an ancient cottage and wooded landscape. A complete window back in English social and economic history, that also romanticizes the scene and subject very well. Painted with very fine attention to detail, this is a very good quality and highly decorative antique oil painting. Dates to circa 1830\'s.
Condition report:The painting has been relined some years ago (hence the newer looking back). The painting could benefit from a light varnish as its surface is quite matt, but generally the work is good for its age.For more paintings, please see ourother items
