Rare and beautiful French Art Nouveau Cameo Glass glove or handkerchief box with enameled flowers, enameled & gilt decorated leaves, and a matching lid. The embossed flower on the silver lid matches the flowers on the side of the glass box. The bottom of the glass has a fine gold hallmark that reads Perthuis Paris. The Perthuis Paris hallmark has been found on known Daum pieces of glass, so it is possible this box was made by Daum as a private label boutique item for a parfumerie. There was a Parfumeur named Francois de Perthuis in Paris. The lid is silver on the outside, gold on the inside and has two hallmarks. They are miniscule but we were able to photograph them. The diamond shaped hallmark is fairly clear. The other hallmark is barely discernible. We have included three different views of it.
