This is a superb pair of Staffordshire seated russet red & white spaniel dogs with the separate front legs, of which:
During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the mid 19th century.

the russet red & white decoration and superb facial detailing.
Separate front legs.
Gilt collars & locks.

Each has an overall height of about 6.25inches.
Max basesizes ofabout 4.75 x 3.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent with no major blemishes.
One has over painting to the eyes with a very fine hairline to the rear.
Due to age: both are subject to areas of loss of colour with overall fine crazing.
