We are offering for sale a wonderful glass claret jug with silver hinged silver mounts.

The most pleasing feature of this wine jug is the exquisite engraving to the glass. The main subject is a spaniel sitting among meadow flowers and grasses. It is expertly engraved and looks just great. The silver mounts with handle is great quality too and chased with floral scrolls. Unusually, both the main silver mount and the handle are hallmarked to match.
